General Information
GPC antibodies are often associated with pernicious anaemia however are non-specific and can also be seen in gastric ulcers, H. pylori infection, and healthy individuals. As such, GPC antibodies are not recommended as primary screening for pernicious anaemia – see Intrinsic Factor Antibodies.
